Winter Park is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winter Park follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Mead Botanical Garden is really nice. A really good place to connect with your inner self. Nature is all around you in all of its ways if you care enough to listen closely. I loved it.

Visited to see the Queen of the Night bloom on June 4th, and it was absolutely spectacular. Seeing this rare cactus flower bloom was a unique experience and well worth the visit. The event was organized beautifully, and the grounds were peaceful and inviting even in the evening. We canβt wait to come back during the day to explore more of these beautiful gardens and walking paths.

1st time visiting Mead Botanical Garden. It's free to visit. Plenty of parking was there. Restrooms were spaced out around the garden. The garden itself is pretty broad and throughout the area. It's also a great place for a picnic.

What a nice place to visit to relax and unwind. We enjoyed walking along the water and lake areas. Rose of Sharon and azaleas were blooming. Touched the softest pine tree, who knew a pine tree could feel so soft? Great free fun in nature. Clean bathrooms.
